Welcome to the Pick-A-Pet page.
Sponsored by Cascade West Veterinary Hospital

Each week we feature new pets available for adoption
at the Lewis County Animal Shelter.

Message from the Shelter:
We now have a Facebook page, and want everyone to "like" us!  It is
called Lewis County Animal Shelter/Official Site for the shelter in
Chehalis, WA

If you'd like info on any of the available pets below, call the shelter at 740-1290.
Shelter adoption fees
Large Breed Dogs $75.00
Small Breed Dogs $105.00
Cats $65.00
Kittens $70.00
Lewis County residents get a $5.00 discount on adoption fees, and we have people sponsor animals which make the adoption fees less. Adoption fees include spay or neuter, vaccinations, collar, I.D. tag, leash or pet caddie!

Donations are always accepted of dry cat food, cleaning supplies
or monetary from 10a-4p Monday thru Saturday at the shelter.

Thanks for all the donations!

Find your new best friend, and help other animals still at the shelter!

You can also drop off your donations at LeDuc's Service Center.

Still in need of good quality mare & foal grain, as well as alfalfa for the Onalaska horses in our foster homes.  Also could use wood pellets, dog toys (dollar store is great), dry kitten chow, hand sanitizer, and pinesol.

Here are some pets up for adoption!
Marley is an adorable 2 year old Terrier mix dog.  His elderly owner went to assisted care, so he needs a new home.  He loves going for walks, and is also a great little watch dog, if someone comes to your door.
Peaches is a pretty 2 year old. She and sister, Lizzie were also turned in because their owner went to a nursing home.  Peaches loves attention and will make a great companion for just about anyone!
Leo is a very big 3 year old.  He was found as a stray out in the country.  He is very friendly, already neutered, and loves everyone he meets.  Great for a companion, and will keep the mice away!
Tiger is a 4 year old cat whose owner passed away.  She was very scared here at first, but now likes to greet people and loves to be pet.  She is used to being indoors and would love a spot on your couch!
