Welcome to the Pick-A-Pet page.
Sponsored by Cascade West Veterinary Hospital

Each week we feature new pets available for adoption
at the Lewis County Animal Shelter.

Message from the Shelter:
We now have a Facebook page, and want everyone to "like" us!  It is
called Lewis County Animal Shelter/Official Site for the shelter in
Chehalis, WA

If you'd like info on any of the available pets below, call the shelter at 740-1290.
Shelter adoption fees
are:
Large Breed Dogs $75.00
Small Breed Dogs $105.00
Cats $65.00
Kittens $70.00
Lewis County residents get a $5.00 discount on adoption fees, and we have people sponsor animals which make the adoption fees less. Adoption fees include spay or neuter, vaccinations, collar, I.D. tag, leash or pet caddie!

Donations are always accepted of dry cat food, cleaning supplies
or monetary from 10a-4p Monday thru Saturday at the shelter.

Thanks for all the donations!

Find your new best friend, and help other animals still at the shelter!

You can also drop off your donations at LeDuc's Service Center.

We are starting to see more cats coming in, so supplies needed are wood pellet and plain cat litter for them.  Canned pate style cat food and dry kitten chow, as well as kitty toys.  Also liquid laundry soap, dish washing soap, window and floor cleaners.  Thanks for all your support!

Here are some pets up for adoption!
Shadow is a very sweet 5 year old Husky/Pit mix.  She is a quiet girl that will need a calm home with a nice dog bed to curl up on.  She lived with an elderly man and a couple dozen other dogs.

Pearl is a very happy 2-3 year old Pitbull found as a stray.  She seems to like everyone, but will need a home familiar with bully breeds.  Secure fenced yard and lots of play time!

Misty is about 7-8 years old and came as a stray. She is a very sweet, quiet, girl, and loves to have her coat brushed.  She would love spending time on the couch with you!

Maybelle is a LARGE 4-5 year old girl.  Found as a stray, she enjoys being pet and would prefer to be an indoor cat. She was not to fond of being in our outdoor cat enclosure.
